Take IVMF’s Survey to Improve Veteran Organizations: Perceptions of Veterans Service Organization Best Practices and Impact

Syracuse University’s Institute for Veterans and Military Families (IVMF) has teamed with the George W. Bush Institute to release a survey to improve veteran organizations.

IVMF works nationally to provide transitioning veterans the skills needed to find successful and fulfilling careers after their military service ends. In 2009, the George W. Bush Institute was founded to encourage research on bettering economic growth, military service, human freedom, education reform and other topics. In 2014, the two organizations have partnered to release a survey to help veterans.

The anonymous survey is available to all service members and their families in active duty, the reserves, the guard or prior-service veterans. The survey is voluntary and completely anonymous.

IVMF and its partners hope to learn how veterans and their families perceive veteran organizations in their communities. The survey data will be used to create better organizational practices, as well as impactful services to veterans and their families.
