Women Face Extra Challenges Compared to Men When Transitioning from the Military to Civilian Life

Maureen Casey, COO for The Institute for Veterans and Military Families at Syracuse University was invited onto Veteran Radio to talk about the specific challenges facing female veterans transitioning from active service into civilian careers.  It takes women veterans longer to land a job and they get paid less than male counterparts.  What can be done to educate employers and empower female veterans?  Casey has some ideas and recently testified before Congress.  Hear the whole discussion by listening to the podcast below.
