Partners & Initiatives

There are 22.5 million veterans in the United States, and more than 2.5 million Americans have served our country in uniform since 2001. In its effort to advance the post-service lives of all transitioning service members, veterans and their families, the IVMF is supported by a world-class advisory board and public and private partners who are instrumental in helping the IVMF create and deliver innovative programs and services that directly benefit those who have served our country.

Advancing Entrepreneurial Opportunities

Working together to deliver innovative programs and create sustainable paths forward for veterans and their families—we call that success! Take a look at how our partnerships are changing the entrepreneurial ecosystem for veterans and their families.

Ensuring Long Term Careers

Developing business and industry training programs focused on recruitment, hiring, assimilation, retention and advancement. The program aggregates training programs (across higher education) targeted to veterans, and is accessible to both career centers and universities nationwide.

Participating in the Community

Serving as the nation’s leading catalyst for engagement in actionable, whole-of-community strategies positioned to best respond to the opportunities and concerns of America’s veterans and military families.

Investigating & Evaluating

As a multi-disciplinary Institute, we work with a variety of partners to lead objective research that uncovers gaps and needs; evaluate critical policies, programs, and practices; develop new and innovative educational programs and services; and inform and advise government, industry, and the social sector on actions that will achieve a positive impact on this community.
