Supported by a world-class advisory board and public and private partners, our professional staff delivers unique and innovative programs in career, vocations, and entrepreneurship education and training to post 9/11 veterans and active-duty military spouses. The IVMF also provides actionable and national impacting research, policy analysis and program evaluation; and works with communities and non-profits across the nation to enhance service delivery for the 22.5 million veterans throughout the United States and their families.

SyracuseServes Team

Keairah parkerKe’Airah Parker is the SyracuseServes Program Manager for the Institute for Veterans and Military Families (IVMF) at Syracuse University. She is responsible for fostering and maintaining relationships with community agencies that provide services to veterans and their families and working with veterans to identify their needs to offer sustainable resources and referrals.

Ke’Airah has strong family ties to the military, being one of the many reasons she joined the team. “IVMF consistently continues to elevate the lives of Veterans and Military families. To see an organization not only touch so many lives but also to remain inclusive and diverse through its growth is just nothing short of amazing. Both of my parents served in the Navy and my brother served in the Marines, so it makes IVMFs mission a little more personal for me. Whenever I am meeting or assisting a client, I always imagine they could have been my family member trying to get this help somewhere. It touches your heart in a different way to see those who have protected our freedom getting the help they so deeply deserve. For me, joining IVMF is about doing my part to make sure our servicemen and women are fully integrated into society in a healthy way that allows them to lead a happy, sustainable life. This includes ensuring they are offered every resource available to them.” – Ke’Airah Parker
