Angela Roarty is committed to helping people achieve success both on a professional and personal level. Passionate about education, Angie was reappointed by Governor Jay Inslee to her second term as Trustee for the Pierce College Board of Trustees. She also serves on the boards of the Pierce College Foundation and the Catholic Women’s Club of Tacoma. Angie has also presented financial literacy classes to women’s shelters, transitional housing residents, and to both high school and college students.
Angie was employed with State Farm Insurance Companies for many years and ran her own State Farm Agency. Prior to becoming an agent, she worked in Human Resources and helped launch a new shared services department at State Farm Corporate Headquarters in Bloomington, IL.
Angie, a proud Army brat and daughter of a Vietnam Veteran, was born in the Philippines and lived in over a dozen places by the time she graduated from high school. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Communications Management from the University of Portland. Angie lives in Lakewood, Washington with her daughter Gabby.
