Chiara Maggiore-Alkhateeb is the Program Coordinator for the Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veterans with Disabilities (EBV) and Veteran Women Igniting the Spirit of Entrepreneurship (V-WISE) Programs. In this position, she is responsible for supporting both the V-WISE and EBV programs as well as planning logistics for the conference portion of each program. Chiara is also responsible for leading qualified students through Phase I and II, of the V-WISE and EBV programs and maintaining all program databases and tracking systems. This includes in-depth counseling with prospective students, tracking statistical information on student demographics, as well as providing overall support.
Prior to her work with the Institute of Veterans and Military Families at Syracuse University, Chiara worked in the nonprofit sector in Connecticut as a Special Events Manager where she managed various community-centered events and fundraisers including Conferences, Golf Tournaments and Galas.
Chiara holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Sports, Entertainment and Event Management from Johnson & Wales University in Providence, RI.
