Dan Strumlok

A United States Marine Corps veteran, Dan served 5 years on active duty as an Infantry Officer. He was a Platoon Commander and later Company Executive Officer at 2nd Battalion, 9th Marines. He deployed to Liberia to train the Liberian Army in basic infantry operations. He also gained a secondary MOS as an Information Operations Officer for the 2d Marine Division Forward in Afghanistan where he pioneered a new type of leaflet dispersal system.

Dan’s experience in entrepreneurship stems from his work with a New York City startup, and going on to co-found a student startup, the College Connection.

Dan holds a Bachelor’s of Arts in Psychology from Ohio Wesleyan University, and a Masters in Business Administration with a concentration in Entrepreneurship from the Martin J. Whitman School of Business at Syracuse University.

In his free time, he enjoys backpacking in the Adirondacks with his dog Bug, and plans to complete the Tour Du Mont Blanc this summer.
