Gibbs serves as the Program Coordinator for the Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veterans (EBV) and the Veteran Women Igniting the Spirit of Entrepreneurship (V-WISE) programs. In this role, she is responsible for leading students through phases I and II of the EBV and V-WISE programs, while maintaining program databases and tracking systems. This includes in-depth counseling with prospective students, tracking statistical information on student demographics, as well as providing overall support to all participants. Gibbs previously served as an Advisor for the Institute for Veterans and Military Families’ (IVMF) Veterans Career Transition Program (VCTP) where she was responsible for advising multiple cohorts of transitioned, transitioning, or soon-to-be transitioning Veterans and military spouses through to program completion and eventual industry certification. Prior to her work with the IVMF, Gibbs worked with active duty military and civilian budget analysts, financial analysts, and comptrollers, in the Defense Programs office at Syracuse University’s Whitman School of Management.
Gibbs holds a Bachelor’s degree in Early American History from the State University of New York at Oswego. In the Fall of 2017, she will earn her Master of Social Science degree from the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs.
