Jacqueline Flores

Flores joined IVMF’s Advising Services team and began her role serving the Onward to Opportunity in Partnership with the Veterans Career Transition Program (O2O-VCTP) in June 2017. In this role, she is responsible for maintaining open lines of communication with transitioned, transitioning, or soon-to-be transitioning Veterans and military spouses and assists with questions or concerns regarding certificate coursework, program offerings, and career advice. Additionally, Flores provides career services such as resume reviews, skills assessments and assisting with job searches, all while contributing to the O2O-VCTP team goals.

Flores holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the State University of New York at Oneonta. Upon graduation, she spent several years working for a wide variety of mental health agencies in Delhi, New York as well as Greenville, North Carolina. While residing in Greenville, North Carolina, Flores obtained her master’s degree in Counselor Education with a Higher Education and Mental Health track. Prior to joining the IVMF’s Advising Services team, Flores worked for Bryant & Stratton College in Liverpool, New York as an Academic Advisor to traditional, non-traditional and veteran students.
