Schock has been in his role serving the IVMF’s enrollment management team as an enrollment coordinator since February 2016. In this role, he is responsible for working closely with active duty and transitioning service members, veterans, and their spouses and family members. His duties include addressing their questions and concerns, supporting all enrollment processes at the IVMF, and providing guidance pertaining to IVMF programmatic offerings and placement.
He brings additional higher education experience to his role having worked with Syracuse University since June 2014. Prior to joining the IVMF, Schock served as an HR Service Center Analyst in the Office of Human Resources at Syracuse University. In this role he worked closely with staff and faculty, providing assistance for the entire life cycle of their employment including onboarding, benefits, and retirement. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management from Oswego State University and is passionate about empowering individuals by providing the skills and resources necessary for them to succeed in their future careers.
Schock is originally a native of Orange County, NY (some things are meant to be) and enjoys playing guitar, motorcycling, and traveling with his wife Alyssa in his free time.
