Katrina is an Army spouse and Air Force mom and is passionate about the success of military families and communities. Prior to joining the Onward to Opportunity program (O2O), formerly known as the Veteran Career Transition Program (VCTP), she served as the Family Readiness Support Assistant for the 1-214th Aviation Regiment meeting the needs of Soldiers and Families, and maintaining communication between the Command and Families. She was a Service Unit Manager for Girl Scouts of Bonaparte Trail in Upstate New York, leading troops to participate in educational and service activities in the community. She has volunteered extensively with Girl Scouts, Family Readiness Groups, and assistant coaches for the YMCA.
She has a bachelor’s degree from UMUC in Psychology with a minor in Business Administration. She and her family currently live in Colorado where they enjoy the cool mountain weather, snowboarding, and attending the occasional Air Force game.
