Kayla Eberhardt started her role as IVMF’s Program Coordinator for Entrepreneurship and Small Business in June of 2019. She is responsible for the coordination and support of objectives related to the growth of the Coalition for Veteran Business (CVOB) and the Center of Excellence in Veteran Entrepreneurship (CoE). She works to increase opportunities for those businesses in the public marketplace and as suppliers to the private sector. Additionally, she strives to increase their access to capital, encourages their certification and classification, as well build valuable relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Kayla brings a unique perspective to her role through her knowledge as both a former military spouse and daughter of a veteran entrepreneur. Kayla has experience working with Marine Corps Battalions and families, as well as her work in higher education at both the community college and graduate level. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Studies from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and is currently pursuing her Master’s Degree in Communication Studies with an emphasis in Public Relations from Southern New Hampshire University.
