Kicia Sears ’08, G’13, MPA ’16 is a Program Evaluation Manager, providing quality and impact evaluation to the entrepreneurship portfolio of programs. She began her work at the Institute for Veterans and Military Affairs while completing a master’s capstone project, providing operations and management consulting to the Syracuse Veterans Legal Clinic at the Syracuse University School of Law. At Maxwell, she focused on post-incarceration reintegration and reentry programs and policies.

Kicia joined IVMF after five years as adjunct faculty in the Syracuse University Department of Writing Studies, Rhetoric, and Composition. She also served as a writing consultant to graduate and undergraduate students in the S.I. Newhouse School of Communications, and as an adjunct professor in writing at Le Moyne College.

Kicia holds a master’s degree in public administration from Syracuse University’s Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs. She also holds a master’s degree in English and a bachelor’s degree in English and Anthropology, both from Syracuse University.
