Krula is responsible for the management, coordination and administration of the IVMF’s Veteran Women Igniting the Spirit of Entrepreneurship (V-WISE) program. V-WISE is a three-phase entrepreneurship training and networking program for women veterans and military spouses of any service era with a passion for starting or growing a small business venture. Through a 15-day online course, 3-day conference at locations throughout the U.S., and continuing follow-on mentorship and support for graduates, V-WISE has helped over 2,000 women pursue their dreams of small business ownership.
Prior to joining the IVMF in June 2014, Krula worked as a Program Manager at Community Action Partnership for Madison County (CAP). There, she was responsible for the daily operations of the food and housing programs serving low income individuals and families. Before her work in program management, Krula fulfilled a number of roles at CAP including Executive Administrative Assistant, Human Resources Manager and Community Operations Manager.
Krula holds a Bachelor’s degree in English from Nazareth College of Rochester and a Family Development Credential from the University of Connecticut. She currently lives in Syracuse with her fiancé (Greg, a Navy veteran), and their greyhound (a rescued racer named Bea).
