McLaughlin serves as the Salesforce and Data Solutions Administrator, developing and maintaining various program and data solutions based on the Salesforce platform. Working on the IT team, McLaughlin provides day-to-day end-user support (including system configuration, reporting/dashboards, complex formulas and system maintenance) and assists users with proactive best practices to enhance and increase their knowledge of Salesforce.com. She works closely with internal teams and external business partners to understand business requirements and define and implement scalable and sustainable technical solutions using the Salesforce technologies. McLaughlin also serves as the Institute’s web administrator, managing the development and support of the IVMF and IVMF programmatic websites.
Prior to this role, McLaughlin served as the Director of Digital Media and Marketing at the IVMF where she drove the digital media and marketing strategies across a range of channels and in alignment with the IVMF’s strategic plan and business objectives. With a blend of strategic thinking, creativity, technical proficiency and operational knowledge, McLaughlin was responsible for increasing the IVMF’s online visibility and traffic through digital channels by defining, implementing and measuring the IVMF online brand, CRM efficiency and marketing efforts.
McLaughlin joined SU in 2008 as new media analyst in the technology services department of the Martin J. Whitman School of Management. Prior to joining the IVMF, McLaughlin served as assistant director of marketing at Whitman, where she was responsible for leading the creative design, evaluation, development and implementation of strategic marketing campaigns; including web design, print collateral, HTML email marketing campaigns, digital signage and high-end video production supporting the marketing and communications functions of the Whitman School.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in graphic design from the State University of New York at Oswego and is currently pursuing an M.S. in new media management through the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications and the Whitman School at SU.
