Michael Quitania serves as the Program Manager for the Hawai’i Pacific Region’s Onward to Opportunity program (O2O), which serves Hawai’i and its Outer Islands, the Philippines, Guam, American Samoa, Japan, Korea, and all eligible individuals in the Indo-Pacific Region.

Prior to joining the O2O Team, he served as the Deputy Director of the Indo-Pacific Region, Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA), where he provided strategic and operational oversight of world-wide operations to recover missing personnel from previous conflicts.

Michael served on active duty in the military for over 20 years in a variety of leadership and staff roles and deployed multiple times in support of national objectives.

Michael holds a bachelor’s degree from Central Washington University and an MBA from Webster University.
