Project Manager, Programs and Services

Philip Chan

Chan joined the IVMF team in June of 2017. As a Project Manager, Chan is responsible for managing projects that originate from all levels of leadership and integrating them into existing practices. With a focus in communications, Chan is responsible for managing external relationships with web developers to ensure adherence to Web Compliance Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), which allows military-connected individuals with disabilities to access online learning platforms. These roles allow Chan to dedicate his passion for communications and marketing with his desire to improve support services for our nation’s military veterans and their families.

Chan, originally from Saco Maine, is a graduate student with the Johns Hopkins University, specializing in communications. Prior to joining the IVMF team, Chan was an active duty member of the United States Air Force, where he deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom in the Kandahar province of Afghanistan. After separating from active duty service, Chan joined the New York Air National Guard where he continues his service as a Pilot in support of our nation’s ongoing efforts.
