Project Manager, Programs and Services

Philip Chan

Chan joined the IVMF’s Advising Services team in June of 2017. As an Advisor, Chan is responsible for assisting students with the completion of coursework, career exploration, and offering support and information to transitioning active duty service members, post 9/11 veterans, and military spouses. Chan is also responsible for processing and ensuring accuracy of student registrations, academic records, and monitoring progress throughout the student’s time with the Onward to Opportunity in Partnership with the VCTP. Chan successfully completes these tasks by ensuring open lines of communication at all times and providing quality-advising support to his program participants.

Chan is originally from Saco, Maine and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources. Prior to joining the IVMF team, Chan was an active duty member of the United States Air Force, where he deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom in the Kandahar province of Afghanistan. After separating from active duty service, Chan joined the New York Air National Guard where he continues his service as a Pilot in support of our nation’s ongoing efforts.
