Tina Kapral is the Director of Development for the Institute for Veterans and Military Families and the Office of Veteran and Military Affairs. In this role, she is responsible for the advancement and development of national relationships with government, business, philanthropic, nonprofit sectors, and individuals who have an interest in supporting Syracuse University’s commitment to the military and veteran community.

Prior to joining Syracuse University in December of 2010, Tina directed the entrepreneur program portfolio, including Boots to Business (B2B), Boots to Business Reboot, Veteran Women Igniting the Spirit of Entrepreneurship (V-WISE) and the Entrepreneurship for Veterans with Disabilities (EBV) and the Entrepreneurship for Veterans with Disabilities Families (EBV-F). She also managed IVMF advising and enrollment teams ensuring streamlined processes and excellent customer service.

Tina holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial relations and human resources management from Le Moyne College and a master’s degree in public administration from the Maxwell School at Syracuse University.  She holds advanced study certifications in Non-Profit Management and Conflict Resolution.
