IVMF’s Research and Analytics Team anchors the Institute’s programs and services and empowers government, private industry, higher education, and philanthropic organizations to effectively address today’s toughest challenges facing the veteran and military community.
The IVMF partners with faculty experts from across the Syracuse University network, with team members serving as full-time staff at the Falk College of Sport and Human Dynamics, the College of Law, The Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs, and more. These Faculty Associates are integral to the research and evaluation work done in support of the military and veterans at the IVMF.

Since initiation, the IVMF Research and Evaluation Team has employed 175+ undergraduate, graduate and doctoral students in collaboration with colleges across campus including the iSchool, Whitman, Maxwell, Falk, and more. Nearly $1M has been invested in student participation in sponsored research and programming since July 1, 2016, preparing students for future careers while acting as vital team members to important veteran and military research.
