Strategic Advising

IVMF conducts needs and landscape assessments to identify gaps in services, underserved populations, and opportunities for coordination. Then, the team helps you build a strategic plan.

Community Impact & Insights-Driven Research

The Community Impact & Insights team has generated volumes of research exploring how communities serve and impact veterans and their families.

Nearly sixty percent of veterans struggle to navigate the resources available to them and name it as a top challenge in their post-service lives.

Resources exist, but they’re scattered, siloed, and difficult to find. Communities lack the coordination to connect veterans to the right support at the right time.

IVMF has spent over a decade solving that problem, dating back to our work on coordinated care with the AmericaServes initiative which began in 2015.

Today, our Community of Practice and Strategic Advising Team partners with state and local governments, veteran service organizations, and other groups to help them identify opportunities and points of friction in their communities’ veteran services landscapes. We also help coordinate functional networks that transform how communities serve veterans and military families from the ground up.
