The Community of Practice consists of over thirty veterans service organizations working together to better serve the military-connected community. Members meet during monthly virtual sessions to network, trade best practices, and discuss the current challenges in the VSO space.

Once a year, IVMF hosts a Community of Practice summit, where our Community of Practice member organizations gather to engage with presentations, networking, and direct engagement with major stakeholders including the VA. Over three days, participants gain access to proven strategies, emerging research, and a network of peers facing the same challenges.
IVMF covers the cost of airfare and lodging for one representative from each Community of Practice member organization, ensuring that everyone has an opportunity to learn and be heard amongst their peers trying to improve the lives of veterans and their families.
The SSG Fox Suicide Prevention Grant Program is a national community-based initiative named in honor of Army Veteran Parker Gordon Fox, who died by suicide in 2020 at age 25. It utilizes a public health approach to reach veterans who are not engaged with the Veterans Health Administration (VHA).
D'Aniello IVMF acts as a community hub that connects grant recipients across the country, providing them with training, resource-sharing, and the ability to evaluate and troubleshoot their individual efforts.
