Mecklenburg County, NC Outreach Strategy

This needs assessment project is helping Mecklenburg learn more about their community’s veterans and families, and what they need from local service providers. Home to nearly 50,000 veterans, Mecklenburg has some of the highest veterans per capita in the nation. Identifying and solving problems here can create a blueprint that helps counties across the nation.

Pedersen Foundation DC Metro Assessment

IVMF surveyed local military community members in the D.C. metro area who may have been impacted by reductions in force and/or federal contract cancellations. All responses are being used to support a community assessment of the needs of the military, veterans, and their families in the DC, Maryland, Virginia (DMV) area.
