Syracuse University has received a $25,000 grant from Travelers to support its Institute for Veterans and Military Families (IVMF), which delivers best-in-class career, vocational and entrepreneurship education and training to service members, veterans and their families. Travelers has supported the IVMF since 2017, and this year’s grant brings the company’s total contribution to more than $180,000.

The grant also supports IVMF’s alumni network, which spans the country, helping graduates stay connected in-person and virtually throughout their professional and entrepreneurial journeys. The IVMF alumni network is available long after students complete their programs and as their professional goals evolve. Alumni can take advantage of resources, webinars and a community of veterans and military spouses who share the IVMF bond through their post-service lives.
