Douglas joined the team in July 2017. She is responsible for the coordination and support of Onward to Opportunity at Fort Campbell and Fort Knox, Kentucky. Prior to joining the IVMF, she worked as a Program Administrator and Counselor with Fort Campbell’s Career Skills Program. She is a relationship builder, excellent communicator, and a leader. Karen’s father is retired Army and she has a passion for mentoring transitioning soldiers.

Douglas is originally from Colon, Panama and holds a bachelor’s degree in social work from Austin Peay State University. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in social work at Capella University. She enjoys spending time with her son, riding her motorcycle, and listening to good music.
