In a recent feature on Fox & Friends Weekend, D’Aniello Institute for Veterans and Military Affairs (IVMF) Project Manager, Saboor Sakhizada, discussed IVMF’s comprehensive programs designed to empower veterans. Sakhizada, a former Afghan translator, emphasized the importance of preparing veterans for the challenges when reintegrating into civilian life.
Having come from the battlefield, Sakhizada emphasized IVMF’s obligations to help veterans. “When they come back home and put off that uniform, and join the civilian lives, we have to prepare them for their next stage,” he remarked.
IVMF plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between military service and civilian life, assisting approximately 20,000 veterans who transition to civilian life each year. Providing programs in career development, vocational training, and entrepreneurship education, IVMF is committed to serve those who served the nation.
