Jim joined the IVMF team in January of 2025 as a member of the Entrepreneurship and Small Business Team.  As the Program Manager for the Coalition of Veteran Owned Businesses, Jim works with non-governmental organizations to connect to veteran and military family-owned businesses to medium-large sized corporations. These connections strengthen and diversify and supply chains and connect the Veteran and Military Family-Owned Businesses to entrepreneurial training, education, and small business resources.

Along with supporting the CVOB program, Jim also supports the Center of Excellence where the mission to is to create, collect, organize, and share knowledge, resources, and networks to advance entrepreneurial opportunities for transitioning service members, veterans, and their families.

Jim Yauger has spent the past 15 years serving the veteran and military community by supporting programs focused on facilitating successful transitions.  After serving in the U.S. Army, he graduated from Seton Hill University in 2010 with a bachelor’s degree in business management with a minor in Entrepreneurship. Jim also earned his Master of Science in Organizational Leadership in 2019 from Robert Morris University and is an alum of the sixth cohort of President George W. Bush’s Stand-To Veteran Leadership Program.
