Ashley Lopez, M.S., M.B.A.
Ashley Lopez G’12 joined the D’Aniello Institute for Veterans and Military Families in January 2021 as the Project Portfolio Manager for Research and Evaluation Initiatives. Currently, Ashley serves as the Director of the Project Management Office supporting the IVMF’s various departments across the institution providing support on internal initiatives, operations, and processes.
Lopez returned to SU from Norwich University in Vermont, known as America’s Oldest Private Military College. In her most recent position as Project Manager, Ashley significantly contributed to the foundation and development of Norwich’s Continuing and Professional Education (CPE) department. Ashley was responsible for managing program development as well as the CPE team of instructional designers and instructors. Ashley’s work on the CPE programs supported the success of the organization in meeting its enrollment and financial goals during its first year. Ashley also served in a Student Services role during her time at Norwich.
Prior to entering the field of higher education, Ashley directed an Early Childhood Learning Center in Vermont and spent two years as an elementary school teacher at a public charter school in Washington DC. Ashley holds a master’s degree in Literacy Education from Syracuse University and an MBA with a focus on Leadership from Norwich University. Ashley is most excited to continue supporting veteran and military families through her role within the IVMF.
