Cassidy Cooper, Ph.D.
Cassidy Cooper, Ph.D. joined the IVMF in 2024 as a Senior Evaluation Associate. Her professional experience includes a broad range of methodologies including surveys, focus groups, content analysis and in-depth interviews. She has conducted research in a variety of settings covering topics including healthcare, organizational management, race, education, economics, crime, entrepreneurship, and religion.
Cooper comes to the IVMF with an extensive skill set in research, education, and federal compliance, in both the non-profit and for-profit sectors. She served as the Title IX Coordinator and Associate Professor of Sociology at the University of Mobile for 10 years. Before moving to Mobile, she worked at the Center for Community Research and Development as a Senior Research Analyst for 5 years.
In addition to her professional work, she has served as the Grant Chair, Community Chair and most recently the Research Manager for the Junior League of Mobile. She also serves on the board of two other non-profits and volunteers her time with the Alliance of Therapy Dogs and several other local non-profits.
Cooper holds a Ph.D. and M.A. in Sociology and a bachelor’s degree in psychology.
