Colleen is a Marine Corps veteran serving time in Iraq, Japan, and California. During her time in the service, she received several distinctions including two Naval Achievement Medals and the Humanitarian Service Medal.

Colleen is passionate about giving back to the military community and volunteers her time with several organizations as a mentor and advocate for transitioning service members, veterans, and military spouses.  In 2019, Colleen was selected as a finalist for the San Diego Women Veteran of Influence award for her work as Secretary of the Board in the San Diego Women Veterans Network.

Colleen earned her bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from San Diego State University and is an Onward to Opportunity graduate for her Project Management Professional Certification.
