As Head of Wholesale Digital, David Owen is responsible for the mobile and web channels for JPMorgan’s Commercial Bank, Business Bank, Chase Merchant Services and Business Card. These businesses represent ~$13B in revenue and ~4.5MM clients.
Most recently, David was Global Chief Administrative Officer of JPMorgan Chase, overseeing multiple global functions including operations, real estate, security, and the Global Service Centers in India and the Philippines. Prior to this role, he served as Chief Financial Officer of Chase Consumer & Community Bank, which encompasses Consumer Banking, Home Lending, Card Services, Auto Finance, Business Banking and Chase Wealth Management.
Before joining JPMorgan Chase, David worked at Bank of America for eight years in a variety of line and staff roles, including overseeing the bank’s digital banking channels as well as leadership roles in branch banking, strategy and marketing, and retail payments.
Previously, David was a Principal in Booz Allen Hamilton’s Financial Services practice. During his seven years at Booz Allen, he worked on a range of strategy, marketing and cost re-engineering projects in North America, Europe, Asia and Australia.
David serves on the Board of Directors for the American Red Cross of Greater New York and the Institute for Veterans and Military Families. He received a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Michigan and a Master of Business Administration from George Mason University. He is a graduate of the U.S. Army Airborne School, and served in the U.S. Army Reserve.
