Lynsey Riffle
Lynsey Riffle serves as Executive Director of Marketing and Communications for the D’Aniello Institute for Veterans and Military Families (IVMF) and Syracuse University’s Office of Veteran and Military Affairs (OVMA). She provides strategic and executive oversight of marketing, communications, brand positioning, reputation and large-scale initiatives designed to strengthen awareness and advance Syracuse University’s leadership in serving veterans, service members and military families.
Riffle previously served as Director of Marketing and Communications for both IVMF and OVMA, leading integrated communications, brand strategy and visibility efforts across the University’s military-connected portfolio. Prior to that role, she served as Associate Director for Entrepreneurship and Small Business at IVMF, where she led strategy, growth and engagement efforts across nationally recognized programs including the Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veterans (EBV), Veteran Women Igniting the Spirit of Entrepreneurship (V-WISE) and CEOcircle and Veteran EDGE.
Her career spans strategic marketing, brand development, organizational growth, events and team leadership across higher education, philanthropy and the private sector. Before returning to Syracuse University, Riffle served as Director of Marketing and Communications at eShow Event Management Solutions, leading global marketing efforts focused on customer acquisition and brand growth. Earlier, as Assistant Director of Major Events at Syracuse University, she helped lead the University’s premier ceremonial, institutional and advancement events.
Riffle is also a professional wedding and family portrait photographer and supports many local charitable and community organizations in her spare time. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Marketing from SUNY Polytechnic Institute and is a candidate for a Master of Business Administration in Communications Management at Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications.
