Quiana Abner is the Program Manager for the Texas Region Onward to Opportunity Program (O2O) at the D’Aniello Institute for Veterans and Military Families of Syracuse University. She provides guidance and oversight of local team operations and nurtures business relationships in Fort Bliss, Fort Cavazos, Joint Base San Antonio and surrounding areas. She also connects transitioning servicemembers, Veterans and military spouses to employers and resources that facilitate a successful, impactful and meaningful life and career after military service.

Prior to joining O2O, Quiana served the military community as a DEPLOY Fellow in the National Chapter at Blue Star Families, a School Liaison and Educational Consultant for the Airforce Child & Youth Program, a Certified Master Resiliency Trainer for the Army Family Life program as well as several other key civilian government, federal contractor and military non-profit roles across all branches of service.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and was Bearer of the Mace at Elizabeth City State University. She also holds a dual Master’s degree in Management and Public Administration from the University of Phoenix, an Army & Airforce Master Resiliency Trainer Certification, and an aPHR Certificate in Diversity and Inclusion in HR Management.
