IVMF and Syracuse University Leading the Charge on Enrolling Veterans in Higher Education

Mike Haynie, Vice Chancellor for Strategic Initiatives and Innovation, Barnes Professor of Entrepreneurship, and founder and executive director of the Institute for Veterans and Military Families (IVMF), and Michael Frasciello, dean of University College, are quoted in the Chronicle of Higher Education article “The Business Case for Enrolling Military Veterans.”

The article discusses the importance of enrolling military veterans in higher education and how Syracuse University has been leading the charge since 1946 when Syracuse University’s Chancellor Tolly helped draft the GI Bill.
