IVMF partners with Concussion Legacy Foundation; Dr. Haynie Pledges Brain

Dr. Mike Haynie Pledges Brain to Project Enlist

The Institute for Veterans and Military Families (IVMF) at Syracuse University is a proud partner of Project Enlist. Project Enlist is serving as a catalyst for research on military veterans with traumatic brain injury (TBI), chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE) and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) by rapidly increasing the number of veteran brains donated to brain banks for study. Brain bank research is an essential step in developing effective treatments for TBI, CTE and PTSD so we can protect and support the heroes who courageously fight for our nation.

Dr. Mike Haynie has joined the Board of the Concussion Legacy Foundation and he has pledged his brain to the cause. As he says in the video, “I encourage you to make a pledge of your brain to the brain bank today.”
