Managed Expectations
V-WISE and BBiE Alum
As a financial coach, counselor, educator and therapist, Heidi helps people achieve holistic financial wellness in a safe and empathetic environment. Through exploring money mindsets, money habits and behaviors, along with financial trauma-when present and whether known or unknown, she partners with clients teaching them how to set financial goals, then together they create personalized systems to reach those goals and achieve overall financial wellness.
As a fee-only, fiduciary, Heidi specializes in military money & financial literacy and resources, budgeting, debt elimination, money mindsets, financial trauma and working with couples. She doesn’t sell any investment or insurance products, provide investment advice or give/take referral fees.
Heidi’s Ask: Managed Expectations provides 1:1, confidential, empathetic financial coaching, counseling and therapy sessions virtually or in person. Sessions discuss the intricacies of how money plays a part in everyday decisions—oftentimes limiting the goals of the client. When in the best interest of the client, we partner with other professionals such as mental health providers, Certified Financial Planners, tax preparers, lawyers, community resources, veteran/military-specific resources and more to help the client achieve the highest level of success.
Managed Expectations also works with veteran-owned small businesses to provide financial wellness workshops and financial literacy & education and 1:1 financial coaching to employees and their families. Employers who invest in providing financial literacy and wellness workshops for their employees find that they are better performers and experience high job satisfaction.
