Inc. magazine, in partnership with the IVMF, announced the fifth annual Vet100 list—a compilation of the nation’s fastest-growing veteran-owned businesses.

Created in partnership with Inc. magazine, the Vet100 was born out of the iconic Inc. 5000 list of the fastest-growing private companies based in the U.S. Both distinctions are considered hallmarks of entrepreneurial success. Supported by payments and financial services technology provider Fiserv and originally established as the Vet50 list, 2020’s list expanded to include 100 veteran-owned businesses in acknowledgment of the growing culture and success of veteran entrepreneurs.

“All veteran entrepreneurs bring a unique set of proven skills and knowledge to the business world as a result of their military service,” said Mike Haynie, Syracuse University Vice Chancellor and IVMF Founder, Executive Director. “The business owners on the Vet100 list are inspiring examples of how important and valuable veteran entrepreneurs are to our society and economy. These individuals not only served for the sake of our collective freedom and security, but they continue to serve by bettering the economic climate in their communities and across the country.”

This year’s list includes 33 veteran-owned businesses that have been named to a previous Vet50/Vet100 list, including Lovell Government Services, the top-ranking Vet100 company two years in a row. This year’s honorees have an average growth rate of more than 1500% and 14 CEOs/companies on this year’s list are alumni of the IVMF’s entrepreneurship programs.

“Fiserv is a proud supporter of the military community and is committed to enabling the entrepreneurial ecosystem – helping disrupt current models, learning from those doing it well, and standing out by making it clear what we stand for,” said Dr. Vivian Greentree, Navy Veteran/Military Spouse, Head of Global Corporate Citizenship, Fiserv. “We are proud to power the Vet100 in its fifth year of championing the achievements of veteran-owned businesses across the country. The growth and success of these businesses are a true testament to their dedication and fortitude. We look forward to seeing their continued success.”
