Veteran EDGE – March 5-8, 2020
The Institute for Veterans and Military Families is proud to announce the 2020 Veteran EDGE Conference which will take place March 5-8, 2020 in Dallas, TX. This unique event is dedicated solely to veteran and military spouse business owners and the ecosystem that supports them.
Over the course of four days, stakeholders, IVMF program graduates, and veteran and military-spouse business owners from around the country will gather to network, and learn about the latest opportunities, best practices, and resources available to their growing companies.

D’Aniello Family Foundation Acceleration Challenge
Participants (ten total) will be nominated to participate in a series of activities and workshops to assess the barriers confronting their business and best prepare them to leverage the resources of the conference. They will be eligible to apply for up to $10,000 in grant funding for their company.
This one-day procurement event seeks to connect veteran and military spouse-owned businesses with Fortune500 companies and executives to help them gain valuable resources, information, and best practices related to procurement opportunities. Learn more about VetSource.
What is the Veteran EDGE Conference?
The Veteran EDGE Conference is a three-and-a-half day educational event that connects veteran and military spouse business owners with breakout sessions, business experts, keynote speakers, and networking opportunities. They will learn how to grow their businesses by finding mentors, connecting with networks, and accessing resources.
What is the eligibility criteria?
Participants must be veteran or military spouse business owners who have been operating their business for one year by the January prior to the conference. Participants must be able to provide proof of their service or their spouse’s service, and proof of business ownership.
How can I attend the next Veteran EDGE Conference?
In order to attend the conference, you must first complete the application which can be found here.
Our Enrollment Services team will verify your eligibility and then we will send you a link to register. If a conference registration has not yet gone live, your application will remain in a pool until registration is opened, at which point we will send you the link to register.

We are expecting 250 veteran and military spouse business owners to attend in addition to 200 resource partners, stakeholders and corporations. Prepare to network, build relationships, learn from a number of breakout sessions, and be motivated by our keynote speakers!

Are there exhibitor opportunities?
- If you are a provider of veteran and/or military-spouse services/resources, we would like to invite you to set up a display.
- Veteran or military-spouse business owners are also welcome to showcase their business and provide collateral as well as items to sell.
- Business and Resource Exhibitor Showcase will be on Friday, March 6th. Space will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. More information on how to sign up to be a resource or business exhibitor will be available soon.
What is the Business Showcase?
This is free for those who have registered to attend the conference will allow you showcase your businesses. This is an opportunity on Friday, March 6th to show off what your business has to offer.
What is the out-of-pocket cost to attend this Conference?
You will be required to pay the $150 registration fee and all of your travel expenses; the registration fee will cover your conference pass, lodging (nights of 3/5, 3/6, & 3/7) and meals during the conference.
