Brigid Purtell
Brigid Purtell joined the IVMF as a Program Coordinator for Entrepreneurship and Small Business in December 2024. She will be a key member of the operations team for the portfolio. Specializing in logistics, Brigid will be helping in operational functions such as facilitating inventory systems, supporting conference shipments, as well as researching and developing tracking systems and maintaining materials for portfolio events.
She brings a wide range of experience, having managed a small business as both a military veteran and spouse, while also leading and supporting volunteer initiatives, including event planning, and optimizing workflow for efficiency. She aims to apply this expertise to ensure participants enjoy a seamless and fulfilling learning experience.
Brigid is a veteran of the US Army Signal Corps. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology from Le Moyne College, a Master of Legal Studies from Washington University in St. Louis, and a Master of Fine Arts from Emerson College. Prior to joining the IVMF, Brigid served as a litigation paralegal for general litigation and family law.
