Diona Morgan currently serves as a Program Manager for Entrepreneurship Residence Programs for the D’Aniello Institute for Veterans and Military Families. Previously, Diona served as the Project Manager in the Project Management Office where she provided project management support across the career training, entrepreneurship and community services projects.

Diona brings over a decade of experience with a distinguished career in the United States Air Force and the government contracting industry. In the Air Force, Diona served with the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) and deployed in support of Operation Freedom’s Sentinel and Inherent Resolve to provide technical support for U.S. Army Special Forces that train and advise the Afghan National Defense and formalize ongoing military actions against ISIS in Iraq and Syria. Following her military service, Diona continued advancing mission-driven work in the contracting field, leading technology initiatives that strengthened operations, enhanced performance, and drove organizational growth.

Diona holds a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Communication from Xavier University (OH) and an Associate of Applied Science in Information Systems Technology from the Community College of the Air Force.  She is also a proud alum of the IVMF’s Onward to Opportunity program. Diona is most excited about the chance to contribute and support the military community, which has provided her with extraordinary opportunities.
