Emily Spencer is the Program Coordinator for the state of Florida’s Onward to Opportunity (O2O). She is a military spouse who serves in the Army Reserve.

For more than a decade, she has been a committed advocate for soldiers, veterans, and their families through her work with Heartillery Group, Fisher House Boston, and as a Family Readiness Group Leader for the Brockton, MA-based U.S. Army 1173rd Battalion. She has built community-based strategic partnerships in order to enhance fundraising efforts, created effective mission-specific marketing campaigns, and developed sound financial planning strategies for soldiers—many of whom are on active duty. Building trust and fostering relationships is the cornerstone of Emily’s career. A native of Boston, Emily is an alumna of Manhattan College in New York and earned a Master’s degree in Operations Management from Harvard University.
