Katie Kilby
Katie Kilby is the National Capital Region Program Manager for IVMF’s Onward to Opportunity (O2O).
Katie comes from a long line of family members who served as engineers in the Navy. Always one to chart her own way, Katie’s path to taking the same oath to “support and defend the Constitution” came by way of the United States Peace Corps in Bulgaria. Not long after returning stateside, Katie landed a dream role on the Alumni Team with Wounded Warrior Project in DC – the role that launched the next decade of her career. After 3 years in the community and at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center with WWP, Katie joined The Mission Continues and had the privilege of building their Baltimore Operations from the ground up alongside a rockstar team of local veteran leaders. Eventually, Katie went out on her own, took her passion project off the back burner, and opened Reveille Grounds in Baltimore City on Veterans Day 2023. A place-based approach to connecting people, programs, resources, and opportunities, Katie is thrilled to be back on a team with this return to her national nonprofit roots.
In addition to her roles as service provider and entrepreneur, Katie is married to a retired Marine, mom to two of the coolest little men, and happiest when her feet are on the trail alongside her 4-legged sidekick.
