Michele Winn serves as the Onward to Opportunity Program Manager in the Pacific Northwest, which covers Joint Base Lewis McChord and Navy Region Northwest. She is responsible for the local management and outreach for the D’Aniello Institute for Veterans and Military Families’ Onward to Opportunity program which provides professional certification and career preparation to transitioning service members, veterans, and military spouses.

Before joining IVMF, Michele served as and project manager and trainer for military transition programs at JBLM for eight years, assisting service members and military spouses translate their experience and find their next career. She has designed e-learning, facilitated career preparation classes, and hosted a podcast, interviewing leaders in business to share best practices in recruitment, training, and retention.

Michele has experience as both a military spouse and as the daughter of an Army retiree. She has a background in hospitality management and training with Pebble Beach Golf Resorts and a bachelor’s degree from Penn State University. Michele is currently pursuing her Project Management Professional Certification.
