IVMF Partners and Funders Lauded for Best Employment Practices in Military Time and Forbes

A few partners of the Dan D’Aniello Institute for Veterans and Military Families at Syracuse University have been recognized nationally as best employers for veterans and military in the recently released Military Times‘ Best For Vets: Employers rankings and the Forbes Rankings. The rankings are described as “The largest and most comprehensive ranking of best employers for military service members and veterans.”

According to the Military Times’ website, this year’s methodology included surveys from more than 7,000 U.S. veterans who work for American-based companies on questions based on veteran career development, recruitment, leadership opportunities and more.

IVMF’s Strategic Partner, Fiserv, ranked No. 9 among 200 companies that hire veterans. Fiserv is a co-leader and founding member of the Coalition for Veteran Owned Business (CVOB), a program provided by IVMF, a first-of-its-kind national initiative to support the success of businesses owned by veterans and military spouses. Fiserv also powers the annual Vet100 dinner at Veteran EDGE conference where we recognize the 100 fastest growing veteran-owned businesses in the United States.

Working with supporters like the Boeing Company, Prudential Financial, and Deloitte, who also have their names in the ranking, are part of the reason why IVMF is the best in ensuring the quality of programming provided to our nation’s veterans and their families. Onward to Opportunity – IVMF’s leading career training program – has been statistically proven to increase starting salary and better job opportunities at the 6-month mark.

At IVMF, veterans can access more than 70 professional class-leading programs in career, vocational, and entrepreneurship education and training. Where will you start?
