Onward to Opportunity (O2O) is a no-cost industry-focused and validated career skills program that connects transitioning service members, veterans, and military spouses to high-demand careers in Information Technology and Business Management. The O2O Program at Camp Lejeune offers an enhanced experience with both in-person and virtual opportunities.  We directly serve MCB Camp Lejeune, MCAS New River, and MCAS Cherry Point.  We also serve Joint Base Charleston and other SC communities virtually.

The program begins with 3-days of orientation (2 in-person days and 1 virtual day) which includes career coaching, employment support, and in-depth instruction by certification subject matter experts. Following orientation, participants complete requirements for the certification of their choosing as independent study towards a 6-month deadline. Certification training is virtual and self-paced to the 6-month deadline with the option to complete early. Upon completion of program requirements, Onward to Opportunity will fund one industry certification exam per participant. O2O is a one-time use program and upon completion, graduates are eligible to receive additional opportunities as Alumni.

NOTE: For those who are pursuing the PMP certification you will also be required to attend a 5-Day Virtual Bootcamp that corresponds to your cohort start date.

Onward to Opportunity (O2O) at Camp Lejeune offers networking events and workshops throughout the year in coordination with our National Employer Partners and volunteers to offer certification mentorship and support career goals.
