Rachel Linsner, Ph.D.
Dr. Rachel Linsner is a Research Associate at the D’Aniello Institute for Veterans and Military Families (IVMF). Dr. Linsner has professional experience in survey design, data analysis, and mixed-methods research. Her work at the IVMF has examined the impact of the military lifestyle on military and veteran families, women’s employment, and the military to civilian transition.
Before joining the IVMF, Dr. Linsner worked as a research intern at the Center for the Study of Traumatic Stress (CSTS), a part of the Department of Psychiatry at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. Additionally, she has experience as an adjunct instructor, teaching assistant, and research assistant in the Department of Human Development and Family Science at Syracuse University.
Dr. Linsner holds a bachelor’s degree in Human Development from Cornell University and a master’s degree and Ph.D. in Human Development and Family Science from Syracuse University.
