Reggie Ordonez is the Director of Bunker Labs Programs at the D’Aniello Institute for Veterans and Military Families. In this role, he manages the integration and success of new projects, programs, and initiatives within the Bunker Labs portfolio. Collaborating closely with senior leadership, Reggie amplifies the Institute for Veterans and Military Families’ strategy for advancing veteran and military spouse entrepreneurship. Before this, he held key positions, including Chief Operations Officer and Head of Marketing at Bunker Labs from 2021 to December 2023.

In 2018, Reggie took on the pivotal role of founding director for a newly established Veterans Business Outreach Center in Nashville, Tennessee. Overseeing the execution and delivery of Boots to Business across five military bases in two states, he worked in tandem with SBA District Offices and various regional partners. Reggie’s initiatives resulted in securing millions of dollars in capital access for veterans and military spouse entrepreneurs and introduced program offerings tailored for partners supporting transitioning service members, veterans, and their spouses.

Reggie brings a wealth of military experience to his professional journey, having served in the U.S. Marines as an Infantry Platoon Sergeant and Combat Instructor at the School of Infantry. His extensive combat leadership training includes attendance at various prestigious schools such as the Infantry Unit Leaders Course, Infantry Squad Leaders Course, USMC Master Gunner Course, and the US Army Cavalry Leaders Course. Notably, he served as the Course Chief for the esteemed USMC Master Gunner Course, training experts to qualify Light Armored Reconnaissance vehicle crews for worldwide deployment. His deployments include missions to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, Afghanistan for Operation Enduring Freedom, and Haiti for Operation Unified Response with the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit. Reggie has earned numerous awards for his service, including a Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal for his leadership during combat operations in Afghanistan.

Reggie holds a bachelor’s degree in social entrepreneurship with a concentration in economic development from Belmont University and an MBA from the Eller College of Management at the University of Arizona. Beyond his professional and academic pursuits, Reggie is the founder of Embrace Process, a nonprofit dedicated to helping underserved youth access Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu training. Reggie is an alum of the Stand-To Veteran Leadership Program from the George W. Bush Presidental Center and was 1 of 34 selected to the program in 2023.
